June Boyer passed away peacefully Saturday September 18, 2021 at the age of 85. Born in Russett Oklahoma to William and Ora Mae Boyer September 7, 1936. Married 31 years to Shinichi Nakamura before his passing in 2018. Siblings: sister Jeanne Harris, brother Jim Boyer.
She was raised Southern Baptist and loved her Savior Jesus. She graduated from Nida High School in 1954. June worked in sales and was very successful. She sold Fuller Brush products, Ovation cosmetics, as well as advertising for Magic Ads until she retired.
She had a passion for traveling. Granny loved to share her travels with her family. She took them with her many places; cruises to Europe, The Caribbean Islands, bus tours in various states, but she loved Hawaii the most.
June had a love of gardening whether it was growing vegetables or unique flowers. She definitely had a love of flowers. She was the photo queen when it came to pictures. Every Christmas party, birthday party, whatever the event, she has the photos.
Preceded in death by her father; mother; husband Snitch; daughter Kenna Wilde; granddaughter Amy Walker; sister Joan Sanders.
Survived by daughter Debbie Rodriguez; son Mike Alexander (Kim); granddaughter, Jody Hatch; grandsons, Cory Manzanares, Weslie Simmons, Jeff Jones; great-granddaughters, Shaylie Marshall (Alex), Ashley Trujillo, Brooklyn Walker, Kennady Jones, Tessa Simmons; great-grandson Gabriel Trujillo; great-great-grandson Archer Marshall; numerous cousins; nieces; and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorville, Utah, where viewings will be held Tuesday, September 28th, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to services on Wednesday from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment at Taylorsville City Cemetery, 4575 South Redwood Rd. Taylorsville, Utah.
