Judith Blattman Ju passed away on October 30, 2026, in her home surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her husband Leonard Ju and children Jorja, Jennifer and Michael Eric. She was preceded in death by her son, Benjamin Leonard.

Judy was born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 12, 1946. She was the third child in a family of five girls and one boy. When she was young, she loved to dance and perform. The family moved often as her father worked for the government as a civil engineer. She hated moving around so much that she took the opportunity to graduate early from high school and start out on her own. She worked for the telephone company and eventually followed her family to Reno, Nevada. This is where she met her future husband, Leonard Ju. They married on October 1, 1965, and were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. While she occasionally had jobs outside the home, Judy loved being a homemaker. Her children have fond memories of homemade meals, birthday parties, and crafting. She loved to read, especially church books, and liked to initiate discussions with family members.

They lived in the Reno/Sparks area for many years, raising their children while Leonard worked at the Air National Guard. After Leonard retired from the military they moved to West Jordan, Utah.

Throughout her life, Judy served in many stake and ward callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Together, Leonard and Judy served as missionaries at the church's Employment Center. One of her favorite callings was serving in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.

She is also survived by her sisters Gail Argust, Lee Ann Sullivan, Kathryn Blattman, brother James Elliot Blattman, and numerous nieces and nephews.
