Jon J. Warden

Jon J. Warden of West Jordan, Utah, passed away on April 30, 2022 due to ongoing health issues. 

Jon was born in Ogden, Utah to Gene and Cleone Warden on February 23, 1948. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a master mechanic. Jon loved fishing, camping, and fast cars, beginning with his dad's 1955 Ford. Above all was his personal relationship with the Lord, which pulled him through some dark times. Jon will be truly missed, and forever known as an amazing example of God’s love. 

He is survived by his wife Rita; his brothers Al and Jeff; his three sons, Dana, Jason and Jacob; his daughter Krista; and his many grandchildren.

His brother Kirk Warden preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 5th at 2:00pm at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale Utah.  An Open House will follow for fellowship and condolences at the Warden’s West Jordan home 4:00-6:00 pm. Services under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
