JoLynn Behling Steele

Jolynn Behling Steele joined her husband of 51 years, Donald Kay Steele, in heaven August 28, 2026, leaving behind their 5 children: Clinton, Jordan (Tasia), Bryan, Devan, Nicole (Mitchell) Medico, and 16 grandchildren. They had lived in their home for almost 50 years with wonderful neighbors who helped take care of each other.

She was born in Carbon County, Utah to Clair H. Behling and Irene Madge Christensen on June 14, 1951. She participated and won a dairy princess pageant. She was a cheerleader and graduated from East Carbon High School in 1969. She played, umpired, and score kept softball for many years -- continuing to cheer for those she loved.

She was always there for those who mattered most -- giving experiences, teaching, watching children, sewing clothes, making quilts, afghans, and bridesmaid dresses. She opened her home to multiple family members over the years, with her grace, kindness, patience, faith, and loving nature as an example. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed!!
