Our mom, grandma, aunt and friend Joan Croft McNeely, returned home Sunday, June 1, 2025. She was born January 11, 1938, in Paul, Idaho to her parents Noel H Croft and Burrdella King Croft.

She was married and sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple to Richard C McNeely, June 6, 1961. They had 4 children, David, Sherri (Steven), Carole (Marvin), and Scott.

She taught school for nearly 10 years before raising her family. She taught piano lessons for over 50 years and taught preschool for 20 years. She has touched many lives through many hours of teaching and service to all those around her. She was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many callings. She magnified every calling she had. Her most recent calling was chorister and she enjoyed this opportunity.

The last several years have been a big challenge, living in the nursing home. She endured those years well and was always so grateful for the service she received.

She is survived by her two daughters, grandchildren, Sam, Kiri, Kailea, Caden, Casy, and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and both of her sons.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the many care givers over the years who have been so kind and caring to our mom. We especially are grateful for the amazing ICU Nursing staff and the hospice caregivers at Holy Cross Hospital in West Valley.

Funeral services will be held June 10, 2025, 11:00 am at the Granger West 7th Ward building, 4460 West Courtney Drive (2925 S) West Valley, Utah. There will be a viewing prior to the service from 9:30 -10:45 am.

Interment at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley, Utah.
