Jerri Suominen Wolder

Forever 23, of West Jordan, Utah, passed away on October 17, 2026.

Born March 22 in North Miami Beach, Florida, to Jalmer V. and Florence Suominen.

Mother of Victor (#1), Mark (#2), and Wayne (#3). Wife of Master Gunnery Sergeant George L. Wolder, USMC.

She worked as a nurse at the Navel Regional Medical Center (NRMC) at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in California.

Jerri loved to travel (mostly driving around the US) and visited all 50 states. She had friends all over the world.

She collected Garfield items, angels, Pepsi products, and John Wayne memorabilia.

She loved her best friend Marion, and Marion's family: Pauline, Jeff, and Doug (son).

Jerri's son Victor lived with and took care of her for 7½ years and was with her at the end.

Survived by Victor, Wayne, and her dog Freddi. Preceded in death by Mark and George.

A Memorial of Life will be held Nov 6, 2026, at 6:30 pm at the LDS chapel, 6695 South 2200 West, West Jordan, Utah.
