Jeffrey David Sevy

Jeffrey D. Sevy, age 70, passed away May 26, 2026, at home in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born June 21, 1955, in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of David and Nancee Sevy. He graduated from Highland School in 1973. He is survived by sister: Carey Draper (Kevin Sevy); sons: Jason Sevy (Lindsay), Justin Sevy (Jennifer); daughter, Jackie Cirbo (Joshua); grandkids: Alexis, Lilian, Hannah, Noah, Henry, Abigale, and Lucy.

Jeff was a passionate car lover. Whether under the hood or building something from scratch in the garage he brought passion, determination, and curiosity into everything he did. He had a huge heart for animals as well. He approached life with grit, humor, and a refusal to quit once he set his mind to something. He loved to laugh, make others smile, and he enjoyed life on his own terms. Friends and family will remember his fun-loving nature, and his endless stories.

He had a gift for working with his hands and an instinct for understanding how things fit together, whether it was machinery, woodworking, repairs, or inventing creative solutions to everyday challenges. Though he is gone, the memories he created, the things he built, and the lives he touched will remain forever. The family will celebrate Jeff's life privately at a later date.
