Jay Jean Brother Kofoed

It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of our mother, “J” due to many years of battling cancer and dementia. She was the daughter of Henry & Beth Standing Brother.

Mom attended both Cyprus and South High. She was very spiritual and at one time, was the owner of Lady “J” Book & Tape Metaphysical Store. Mom loved music, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by daughters Vicky Hughes Neil & Tracy Kofoed Savage (Jim); aunt Marylou Broadwater; and her close friends whom she all loved dearly.

Preceded in death by parents; and brother Glenn.

Special thanks to all of Mom’s health care providers throughout the years. Upon her wishes she was cremated.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020, 2:00 p.m., at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah 84123. A celebration of life will follow from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at 11539 South 3420 West, South Jordan, Utah 84095.
