Jami Michelle Mulvey
July 10, 1973_ July 27, 2025
Jami Michelle Mulvey returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on July 27th, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on July 10th, 1973, to her loving parents Alan( Joe) and Penny Mulvey, Jami's life was a testament of courage, joy, and unconditional love.
Jami was a fighter from the very beginning--- undergoing her first surgery before the age of 1 and open heart surgery at just four years old. Despite lifelong health challenges, Jami lived with infectious joy and determination. She attended schools in Murray, UT, where she met her best friend forever, Mike Fisher, and graduated from Murray High School in 1995.
To know Jami was to love her. She never met a person she didn't embrace with warmth and sincerity. A natural peacemaker, she welcomed everyone with open arms and an open heart-- often greeting new friends with her signature line: "Hi, I'm Jami, what's your name?"
Jami brought light and celebration to every moment--- especially birthdays, which she joyfully extended to a full month of festivities. She loved going out, eating at her favorite restaurants, seeing movies, and never passed up the chance for a treat and a drink.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jami especially loved serving in Primary, where her joyful nature uplifted children and adults alike. Her time in SNAP(Special Needs Activity Program) brought her immense happiness, and her family extends deep gratitude to the leaders, volunteers, and friends who enriched her life through this program.
Jami's love for life, her Savior, and all people was unmatched. Her smile lit up every room, and her spontaneous songs and dances brought joy to those lucky enough to witness them. She was truly an example of Christ like love and compassion-- a light to all who knew her.
Jami is survived by her beloved parents, Alan( Joe) and Penny Mulvey, siblings Kami Tollefson, Jodi (Jeremey) Bryner, Julie (Ted) Cowley, and Brett Mulvey( Jennifer and kids); nieces and nephews Taylor (Rebekah) Tollefson, Kacey ( Nauvoo) Tollefson, Brian Mulvey, Ashlynne Bryner (Jordan Krage), Hailey Mulvey, Shaylee Bryner, Isaac Mulvey, Jaxson Bryner, and Logan Bryner; great- nephews Liam Tollefson and Gordon Krage. She's also survived by many aunts uncles and cousins who adored her.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents Lloyd and Lorraine Mulvey, Leland Brown and Ruth Brown and cousin Sean Brown.
Jami's life was a gift to this world. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and inclusion that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. A special thank you to her "Angel on Earth" Erica and Jennie and other staff from Canyons Hospice, as well as Corey from DDI Vantage who loved Jami like family and took her on many outings and adventures.
