Hartford Ray Lintz 1937 ~ 2011 Hartford Ray Lintz passed away peacefully at home October 30, 2011, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Ray was born May 24, 1937 in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Hartford Mason and Adelia Wacker Lintz. He attended Granite High School but graduated from Olympus High in 1955. Married Loyce Ann Maxfield March 26, 1959; solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple December 30, 2006. Ray was a journeyman machinist with EIMCO and retired from Kennecott Copper Corp. He loved fishing in Oregon on the Alsea River for Salmon and Lake Powell for Bass. He enjoyed hunting, camping, water skiing and his dogs. He was devoted to his family and to his Heavenly Father. He was an active member of the LDS Church after converting in 2005. He was proud to work security for the 2002 Olympics. Survived by wife, Loyce Ann; children: Laura (Tony) Keisel, Stacy Romero, Sean Lintz, Stephanie (Richard Jr.) Michelloti; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Carolyn (Gerald) Green. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Geraldine Peggy Lou Nielson. God be with you until we meet again. Special thanks to Dr. Anna Beck and her marvelous staff at Jordan Valley Cancer Center, and to Intermountain Cancer Center for their excellent support and empathy. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 3, 2011, 12:00 noon at the Kearns 3rd Ward, 4715 South 4300 West where viewings will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2011, 7-9 p.m. and Thursday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
