Gordon Larry Bedke

“Together Again”

Gordon Larry Bedke, age 56, passed away at home on October 11, 2019.

He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to loving parents Larry Bedke and Kohnie (Muir) Liscomb on August 4, 1963. He married the love of his life Christy (Weis) Bedke in Salt Lake City on September 7, 1990.

He spent many of his younger years riding dirt bikes, working on cars, and terrorizing his sisters. Gordon enjoyed camping, movies, Nascar, and cooking for his family. He worked as a plumber for over 20 years and was known for his vast knowledge and integrity. He will be fondly remembered as outgoing and always willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his three children Racheal, Cody, and Austin; father Larry (Merla) Bedke; mother Kohnie (Mick) Liscomb; sisters Marsha (Layne) Mason and Sandra Bedke; grandchildren Jordyn and Caleb; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Friday, October 25, 2019, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah 84123. He will be laid to rest in Basin Cemetery in Oakley, Idaho. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to a charity of your choice.
