G. Craig Anderson

January 31, 1944 — November 9, 2022

Emblem

The bravest man we know passed away on November 9, 2022. Craig was born on January 31, 1944, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Gordon and Kathryn Anderson. He told many stories of living in Jerome, Idaho with his siblings in the good old days. Dad was a good standing member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a Vietnam vet where he received a Purple Heart, served as a military police officer, heavy duty mechanic, and lastly working at Surf and Swim in Layton. More importantly he is our Dad, Grandpa, and Great-grandpa. The best at each title.

Craig is survived by his daughters Jenny (Gary) Bronson, Emi Anderson; and his sons Brandon (Amanda), Paul (Shailyn), Troy (Merilee), Todd (Rayelynn) Anderson; his brother and best friend Delmas Anderson; his sister Kathryn Jo (Dee) Allred; 12 grandkids, 16 great-grands; many nieces; nephews; cousins; and his dog Snickers, who all adored him.

He is reunited with his mom; dad; sisters; and brothers and we know that reunion was blissful.

To say we are devastated with the loss of our dad is an understatement; however, we are happy for the reunion he is having.

We want to thank the 4 lifeguards who worked so hard to save our dad and the EMT's that took over, we know you did everything you could. Dad, please watch over us and know how greatly you are loved and missed by all who had the blessing to know you. Until we meet again.
