Our beloved Dad, Papa, brother, son, and friend passed away Tuesday May 5, 2026, surrounded by all of his family. Glen was an amazing athlete and was a nine-time varsity letterman in football, basketball, and baseball at Granger High School. He met and fell in love with Audrey Barnson, the love of his life, and they were married April 27, 1962. Glen served in the Army as well as the National Guard. He was the face of Mountain Fuel where he was a designer, engineer, and serviceman for 33 years. He enjoyed a short retirement and then worked at Holmes Heating and Cal-Ranch before going back to Questar as a gas line inspector.
Glen was an avid hunter, fisherman, mountain man, water skier, and golfer. He enjoyed his motorcycles, 3-wheeler, and 4-wheeling adventures. He loved Cove Fort, Bear Lake, Fish Lake, Knolls, Star Valley Ranch, Jackson Hole, and Yellowstone. He was a champion trap shooter and an elite marksman. Glen could weld, make and fix anything, and if he saw a need anyone had, he would do whatever it took to take care of it. Glen was a kind and gentle man. He was a loving son, a giving brother, and a wonderful Dad. His brothers and sisters knew him as the one they could always count on for anything and everything. It didn't matter the time of year, or if it was day or night, no matter where you were or what you needed, you could always count on Glen.
Glen has two children, Stacey and Josh. He instilled a love of athletics, the outdoors, being on time, and working hard. He has five grandchildren, Griffin, Caden, Paiten, Rylee, and Riggin. He was very devoted to their sports, their needs and activities, and spoiled them a lot more than he spoiled his own kids.
Glen is survived by his sister Joanne (Bill) Newman, brothers Ken (Lana) Weidauer, Dennis (Laura) Weidauer, sister Janice (Joe) Christensen, daughter Stacey (John) Tobey, son Josh (Andrea) Weidauer, his grandchildren, Griffin (Morgan), Caden and Paiten Tobey, Rylee and Riggin Weidauer as well as multiple nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Sidney and Helen Weidauer, son Griffin, brothers Arnold and Floyd, and sister Leona. He was greeted loudly by our sweet Mom and his loving wife, Audrey. He has left a very wide and deep legacy of love, faith and friendship with everyone in his path. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
