Gerane Rolfson England Wilson

July 9, 1935 — March 26, 2021

Gerane

Gerane Rolfson England Wilson, 85 of Kearns, Utah returned home to her Heavenly Father, following complications from a stroke on Friday, March 26, 2021, surrounded by her family. Gerane was born July 9, 1935 to Bazel Phillips Rolfson and Thelma Gordon Rolfson in Raymond, Alberta Canada.

Gerane married her sweetheart Richard Odell England on December 16, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah and was married to Richard until his passing in July 2000. Richard and Gerane were later sealed in the St. George Temple on July 26, 2003.   That same year, while volunteering at the Bishops Storehouse, she found a new love.  After a whirl wind courtship, she married Lee Wilson on January 3, 2004 in the South Jordan Temple and they enjoyed 17 loving years together.

Gerane loved everyone she met and had a fantastic sense of humor. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved welcoming new members to her ward with a beautiful smile and warm hugs (later elbow and fist-bumps). Gerane served as a secretary in the primary, was the young women’s sports director, counselor to the youth, and ward librarian.  Gerane and Richard were also foster parents and welcomed many young foster children into their loving home.  Gerane also loved family night at her daughter Cindy’s house, getting together with family and having England breakfast, getting her hair done with purple highlights, visiting, and playing games or working on puzzles. She also enjoyed working in the church store house and was always serving and thinking of others.

She will be greatly missed and will leave a huge hole in the lives of her family and friends. She was a beautiful spirit, loving daughter, wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, friend and all around beautiful and loving woman.

Gerane is survived by her husband Lee; her daughters: Denise, Cindy and Stephanie (Jerry), sons Ray (Janae), Dennis (Susan) and Chris (Ann); grandchildren: Andrea (Earle), Michael (Bonnie), Jennifer (Nathan), Becky (Brad), Justin (Tiffany), Anthony (Nina), Courtney (Kyrie), Christopher (Becca), James (Faith), Skylar, and Bryce; great-grandchildren: Kameron, Paxton, Brynleigh, Serenity, Samantha, Adalyn, Alexis, Noah, Cade, Rahelynn, Tatum and Ivie; brothers: Sherman and Ray; and sisters: Belva, Nesha, Elon and Luana.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard; brother Gordan; and sisters Theda, Naoma, Loreen and sons, Terry Carlson and Michael Baker.
