Florence Ann (Keil) Bedont was born in Virgin, Utah to George and Colleen Keil.
She met and met Bob Bedont on a blind-date for his 16th Birthday. They married on June 15, 1976, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Flo is survived by her husband Bob and sons Dr. BJ Bedont (Allison), Brandon (Heidi), Tom (Heather), and Jason, and six grandchildren - all living in Salt Lake - close enough to gather together the 2nd Sunday of every month for birthdays.
The world lost an Angel with the passing of Flo. She battled mightily against neuroendocrine carcinoma over several years. She will surely be missed.
A valiant member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a wise counselor and friend, a gifted tailor, a talented craftsman, our watermaster and soccer coach, and an enthusiastic supporter of all, especially all things "Bedont".
She touched many lives with her talents, but more with her always friendly smile and encouraging demeanor and willingness to help all who cross her path.
We will hold a celebration of her life with a viewing on Monday December 8 from 6-8PM at the West Jordan Stake Center, 2666 West 7000 South, West Jordan, and on Tuesday at 10AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Interment will be at the Taylorsville Cemetery.
Thanks to all who prayed and visited and wrote cards and sent texts of encouragement to either of us. Know that we are inspired by your thoughtful kindness.
Please, if you feel to do something - pay it forward; if only to smile at someone you wouldn't normally notice, for that is what she did.
Thank you for your Love sweet Flo.
