Erika Edith Tschocke Koch

Erika Edith Tschocke Koch, 86, passed from this life into internal life on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

Erika was born on July 4, 1934 in Glambach, Germany. The daughter of Paul Richard Tschocke and Emma Loulise Strauch.

Erika grew up in Germany during WWII along with her two sisters. They came to the USA in her teenage years, where she met Siegfred. They married and had five children.

Erika enjoyed the outside; riding her bike, camping with the family, and gardening. She also enjoyed the “Sound of Music”, especially all the songs. Erika was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She believed everything they taught and gave willingly in service.

She is lovingly remembered by her five children: Mark Koch (Lauren), John Holliday, Esther Wells, David Koch (Isabell), Ronda (Jack) Hill; her five grandkids: Kiera Dyer, Conner Holliday, Anthony (Miah) Acevedo, Harrison Acevedo; her two great-grandchildren, Zander Dyer and Kian Acevedo.

Erika is preceded in death by Siegfried; Leonard Wells, son-in-law; Alex Wells, grandson; Paul, dad; Emma, mom; Rosemary, sister.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 2, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at the Crescent 3^rd Ward building, 943 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah, where a viewing will be held prior to services from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by the family for help with the funeral costs.
