Emma Lee Peterson has passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 30, 1934, in Garfield, Utah to Stanley Wilford Olsen and Evalyn Orton Olsen. She graduated from Cyprus High School.

Emma Lee was sealed to her husband, Nile Zan Peterson in the Salt Lake temple on November 15, 1955.

Family was the most important thing to her. She loved everyone unconditionally.

She is survived by her 8 children, Don Peterson, Danny Peterson (Robyn), Leona Neff (Clairmont), Stanley, Sharlene, Sharon, Jolene and Jeanene. Along with 74 grandchildren, 134 Great-grandchildren, and 36 Great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Mirabella 1st Ward, 14172 South Emmeline Drive in Herriman, Utah. Viewings will be held, Thursday, June 18, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and again Friday 10-10:45 a.m. at the Church. Prior to the funeral service.

Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
