Douglas J. McPhee

Douglas J. McPhee passed away June 11, 2022, in West Jordan, Utah. He was born January 25, 1939 in Bingham, Utah to Douglas R. and Mary M. McPhee.   

He grew up in Salt Lake City. After an honorable discharge from the Marine Corp, he returned home and married Chlo'e Wright. They raised their family of three boys and two girls in Kearns. His love and devotion for his family was unconditional and was always there when help was needed. He was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Among his callings were Bishop, Bishop's counselor and Scoutmaster. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, golf and family gatherings.  He worked for over 30 years at Utah Power & Light and then ECI.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Cory ( Kathy); Cammie Eagan ( Rufe), Craig ( Bonita), Keith ( Taunya), Kimberlee Innes ( Brent); 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 11:00 a.m., with a viewing from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to services, at Copper Hills Ward house, 5349 West 9000 South, West Jordan, Utah. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
