Donna Madeline Walk Burr Grandma Burr Our sweet and courageous mother, grandmother, auntie and friend passed away May 16, 2011. Donna was born February 16, 1929 to Martin and Gertrude Walk in Salt Lake City, Utah, the youngest of four children. She married Robert Burr June 24, 1948; later divorced. Together they raised four children. Donna enjoyed the many years she spent working for Valley Bank and Trust. Donna was the giving matriarch of our family. She was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed camping, cooking, blackjack, vacations, her summers in Lake Tahoe, preparing for the holidays, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Ron (Susan) Burr, Jan Wilkinson and Bret Burr; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild; niece, Pam Anglin; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Burr; grandsons, Brandon and Christopher; sister, Betty (Harold); brothers, Sheldon and Verl. The family would like to thank Heidi, Lyn and Hospice 4 Utah for their care throughout the past several months and a special thanks to her grandson, Jeremy, for his dedication to his grandma in the last years of her life. Services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011, 2:00 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
