Dennis Lloyd Johns

Dennis Lloyd Johns, 74, Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away at his home on September 12, 2018. He was born on April 7, 1944, to James LeRoy Johns and Afton (Holmes) Johns, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married to his sweetheart, Sandra (Hollingsworth) Johns, on February 7, 1964. Dennis was a member of the Local 68 Operative Plaster and Cement Mason's. He retired from Big D Construction after many years of service. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, and working in his yard. Survived by his wife; two sons; and one daughter-in-law, Dennis C. Johns and Pamela (Moesser) Johns, Brian J. Johns. He has eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; brother Tom; and sister Karren. Dennis is preceded in death by both of his parents; one son, Robert P. Johns; and one granddaughter, Tanya (Johns) Prince. A viewing will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018, from 10:00 to 11:30 am, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah, followed by a graveside service at 12:00 pm at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S.
