Deloris Swan 1921 ~ 2011 Deloris Swan passed away June 14, 2011. Born June 30, 1921 in Merced, CA, to George and Charlotte Robinson. Married Walter James Swan July 4, 1940; later sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Deloris used her time on earth in service to many including mothering eight children. She faithfully served in many church callings, was the ward organist where ever she lived and served a mission with Walter in Tallahassee, FL in 1983-84. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter; son, John; granddaughter, Grace Taylor Busk. Survived by her children: Jerry (Mary Ann) Swan, Jim (Diana) Swan, Charlotte Taylor, Carol Ann (Chuck) Price, Allen (Carolyn) Swan, Merri Lou (Glenn) Martin, Linda (Steve) Olsen; 42 grandchildren; 102 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Lee (Elaine) Robinson and Don (Mary) Robinson. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the many services rendered by friends, ward members and staff of Summit Home Health & Hospice and Caregivers Support Network. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Glenmoor 7th Ward, 4147 W. Sky Drive (9800 So.), South Jordan, UT where a viewing will be held, 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
