Our beautiful angel mother returned home to her Heavenly Father on April 12, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
Delores was born November 10, 1932 in Payson, Utah where she lived and attended school until she moved to the “Big City” (Salt Lake City) and worked the next 43 years as an accountant at Mountain Bell/U.S. West.
She married her sweetheart, Merlin R. Croft on December 12, 1968. They were blessed with 4 daughters. Delores was a hardworking and loving mom; often getting up before dawn to prepare lunches, walk to catch the bus, work full-time, and then return home to be a devoted full-time mom. She was creative and giving. Sewing matching outfits for her young girls and finding fun, creative ways to distribute Christmas gifts to her neighbors.
She was devoted to her Faith and her “eternal” calling as Church Librarian. She performed many acts of service including sewing and crocheting baby blankets to donate to the hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
She was well loved and will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Merlin; and daughter Merianne. She is survived by her daughters: DeNae, Deann (Dave Hammel), and Denice; her grandchildren: Jordon (Marissa), Kirita, Hailey, Dallin and Katie; and great-grandchildren: Briley, and Grey.
