“Debby” passed away early in January 2022 at the age of 61. She was born April 27, 1960 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Howard Ross Wadley and Linda Conger. She was the oldest of ten children and was part of a very close and loving family. Her siblings were: Lindy, Wade, Danny, Laura, Julie, Rachel, James, Trisha and Robby.
She is the mother of three wonderful children. Christopher, her oldest married Monica Brady. They have two sons, Dylan and River. Her second son, Benjamin married Emily Dexter and they also have two sons, Jackson and Thomas. Angelinea, her daughter is her youngest. She looks a lot like her mother. Deborah loved her children and grandchildren. They were a great joy in her life and comfort to her.
When Debby was young, she loved family events, picnics at Liberty Park, campouts in the canyon, family vacations, and the favorite family pot-luck parties. When all the siblings grew up and had their families these events still carried on and sometimes there was 60 people at the family pot-luck and 50 people at the family camp outs, with tents everywhere. We all loved sharing family memories around the bonfires.
Debby also had a special loving heart. She enjoyed people and was kind and compassionate. She always looked for ways to serve or help others. She loved giving gifts and enjoyed making people happy. She always had a beautiful smile and would lift the hearts of others. She also loved her pets and especially enjoyed her little dog, Sahara.
In high school she loved to excel in her studies. In her senior year she was awarded the Sterling Scholar Award in Home Economics. She also loved music, swimming and sports and belonged to the school track team. She loved running and hiking and being in the outdoors.
In the past years Debby struggled with many serious health issues and pain. These things contributed to her death. She is now at peace with her Father in Heaven. Her large extended family and many others have all been greatly blessed from her life. We all love her and will miss her but know that she no longer has to suffer and is in a better place. We have all been blessed with the great love of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the love of our Father in Heaven. May the Lord’s comfort and strength be with all of those who knew her and loved her.
A ‘Celebration of Her Life’ was held for her immediate family at her mother’s home.
