DeAnn Mae Magee died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Devil Slide, Utah, to James O. Grover and Jessie L. Foster. DeAnn married Dewayne Higbee and had 5 children; Jane Perlow (Jack), Carol Ann Orozco, Barbara Richmond, Barry Higbee (deceased) & Brad Higbee.

Survived by many grandchildren; Jessica, Jordan, Tiffany, Shandon, Zachary, Alex, Taresa, Taesha, Heather, Emily, Sarah, Taylor, and Chavis.

She had 9 great-grandchildren; Kian, Katelynn, Kalob, Erika, Pierce, Mason, Payzden, Ryker, and Zoey.

DeAnn retired from Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office in 2003. DeAnn had many friends and loved ones that will miss her dearly.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. Viewings will be held, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 6-8:00p.m. and again Thursday, March 5, 2026, 10-10:45 a.m. also at McDougal Funeral Home.

Interment will be at the Henefer Cemetery at a later date.
