Claudia Jean Noffsinger

Our beautiful sister, aunt, and friend passed away March 9, 2020 after a long struggle with complications caused by a Lap Band.

Claudia was born April 25, 1953 to Clyde N. Noffsinger and Betty Jean Boivin Noffsinger in Salt Lake City, Utah. Claudia graduated from Granite High 1971. She worked at KSL for 14 years. She made friends for life everywhere she went. Her quick wit and sense of humor, contagious laugh, and warmth drew people to her. She was kind and generous to a fault. She was a fierce friend, the best sister ever, and the most incredible aunt and great aunt anyone could ever wish for!

She loved animals, chocolate, music, anything pink, roses, funny/romantic movies, traveling with her friend Kriss, spending time with friends and family, and spoiling her Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde & Betty Noffsinger; her beautiful Grandma Verdie Osborne; and her little brother Clyde P. Noffsinger.

She is survived by her siblings: brothers Don (Sheryl) Noffsinger & David (Michelle) Noffsinger; sister Betty (Ken) Ekenstam; her best friend for 56 years, Kriss (Ralph) Durrant; nephews Ryan & Jarod Billings (Noffsinger), Josh & Jake Ekenstam, and Nathan & Christopher Noffsinger; nieces Alison & Malinda Noffsinger, and Elizabeth Noffsinger; great-nieces Madison, Alayla & Lexia Ekenstam, and Ava Billings; great-nephew Jax Billings.

The family wishes to thank her best friend, Kriss, for being by her side till the very end. Also, the family thanks the IMC ICU staff, 10^th floor staff, and emergency room staff that worked so hard to take care of her. IHC staff treated her with such kindness and respect. Thank you!

Claudia will be greatly missed. We will have a celebration of Claudia’s life. Location and date are still to be determined. Instead of flowers the family ask you make donations to any animal shelter or charity in her name.
