Charleen Wood Sharp

Our wonderful one-of-a-kind mom, grandma, great-grandma, and friend went to find dad on Monday November 22, 2021. She was born July 1, 1932, in Payson, UT to Charles and Ethel Wood and grew up in Spanish Fork, UT. She married Dale L. Sharp May 31, 1949. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was active in DUP (Daughters of the Utah Pioneers) and was in the Compassionate Service for years in the church.

Charleen is survived by: two daughters, Lisa Workmall (Kelly Jensen), Andrea and Bob Melvin; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Dale Sharp; son, Shane Dale Sharp; and most recently daughter Melia Alkin, October 27, 2021.

A mom is someone who loves you more than she loves herself. Our hearts are now broken in half. Say “hey” to Dad, Shane, and Melia.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 12:00 pm, located at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123.
