Candido Herrera, Jr.

Born October 12, 1937 in El Rito, New Mexico. Moved to Monte Vista, Colorado; later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah which remained his home town. He married Jennie Giron Herrera; later divorced but they remained the best of friends.

He is survived by children, LeRoy (Liz), Lorraine (Pedro), Eli, Connie, and Candy; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Paul, Jimmy, and Joe; sisters Mary and Sharon; half-sisters Pam and Denise. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Angela; grandson Caleb; sister Gina; and brothers Oliver, Adolf and Ray.

Jr. had many good friends and family that will miss him dearly. Thanks to all of the family members and friends, Elevation Home Health and Hospice, and the Escalante Park Staff.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 5th, 12:00 noon, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 400 South 1200 West, where a viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Rosary at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
