Bruce Bradley \Brunson passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, in Taylorsville, Utah, at the age of 91.

Born on April 15, 1934, in Fillmore, Utah, Bruce was the beloved son of Dr. Clyde Fackrell Brunson and Rachel Mifflin Brunson. He grew up with a strong sense of family and faith that would guide him throughout his life. He graduated from East High School and went on to attend Ricks College and Brigham Young University where he studied music. In life, he also completed cosmetology school and studied electricity at Utah Trade Tech-an example of his diverse interests and willingness to learn new skills.

Bruce dedicated much of his professional life to transportation. He drove buses for Continental Trailways before joining the Utah Transit Authority, where he operated both buses and Traxx trains.

A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bruce served a mission in New Zealand as a young man-a formative experience that deepened his lifelong commitment to service. Alongside his wife Camilla, he later served in the Inner City Mission of Salt Lake City. Throughout his life, he held many callings within the Church, but none brought him more joy than serving as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple.

Bruce found great happiness in music and travel. He loved playing his organ and often filled his home with music. Traveling with Camilla was one of his favorite pastimes; together they created cherished memories exploring new places and enjoying each other's company.

For over six decades, Bruce and Camilla made their home in West Valley City before moving to Legacy House of Taylorsville just over a year ago. They remained deeply connected to their Hunter 3rd Ward family and formed many friendships at Legacy House.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife Camilla; their five children: Jared, Gordon, Steven, Cynthia, and Gaelene; his brother John and sister Jan; fourteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Clyde; and sister Jill.

Viewing will be held March 1, 2026, from 6p.m.-8p.m. at McDougal Funeral home 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. A funeral service will be held at the Hunter 3rd Ward Chapel located at 3737 South 5600 West, West Valley City on March 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held from 10 am to 10:45 am prior to funeral.
