Beth Ebert

January 19, 1932 — May 3, 2023

Beth Brand Ebert,

January 19, 1932 - May 3, 2023

Beth Brand Ebert -- a caring wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend -- peacefully returned to her heavenly home and reunited with her eternal companion of 50 years, Paul, while surrounded by family on May 3, 2023.

She lived 91 years serving as a good example and influencing so many lives. Beth was known as a kind, funny, patriotic woman who loved to serve others, and a great cook. She was well known for her cinnamon rolls and raisin squares. She loved to quilt and vacation with her sister and sisters-in-law.

Beth was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and of his love for everyone. She served members and non-members in a variety of callings including Primary President, Young Women's President, and Relief Society President. She served every calling with all her heart.

Beth was born to Walter and Rosetta Goff in Sandy, Utah. She had 3 brothers and one sister whom she loved dearly. Growing up during the Great Depression, she always treasured the little things and made do with what she had. She was able to whip up a meal with anything she had in the kitchen. The daughter and niece of WWI veterans and sister to two WWII veterans, Beth was extremely patriotic, beaming with pride whenever she saw the American flag. Living by the train tracks in Sandy, she would always run to wave at the trains, hoping her brothers were coming home during the war. Her best friend was Betty, her sister. She spoke to her daily until Betty's death last year.

Beth married Paul Ebert in the Salt Lake Temple on February 16, 1951. During their marriage, Paul endured major illnesses, during which she stood by his side faithfully. Their marriage was full of laughter, jokes, teasing, and dedication to each other. Dad loved mom's cooking, and she loved to cook for him, especially desserts.

Beth and Paul lived in Kearns for about 50 years where they raised their 5 children and maintained lifelong friendships. Together, they laughed, cried, and supported each other through life's ups and downs. They enjoyed many vacations together throughout their marriage.

Beth will be remembered for her faith, love for family history, cooking, her sense of humor, kindness, and fierce love for her family.

She is survived by her children: Richard (Tay) Ebert, RaNae (Steve) Moore, Dawna Mitchell, Linda (Doug) Bolton, Paula (Lance) Hope, Mary (Greg) Jensen; her grandchildren: Jared, Christopher (Marci), Craig (Chrissy), Court (Kim), Melissa, Amanda, Clinton, Nathan (Natalie), Jason (Jemay), Kristy (Jared), Dallan (Jenny), Justin (Lacy), Lindsey, Lauren, Nicole (Nate), and Jordan (Ashley); 34 Great-grandchildren with one on the way; and her brother Lynn (Joan) Brand, and many nieces and nephews.

Beth is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Rosetta Brand, loving husband Paul, sister Betty, brothers Myron and Dale, brother-in-law Jack, and sisters-in-law Ann and Bertie.

We would like to thank the staff from Utah Home Health Hospice and Sunridge Assisted Living. Their care and kindness were incredible during her final days.
