Tyler James Pincock

September 9, 1994 — October 12, 2017

Our loved father, son, brother, and friend, Tyler James Pincock, age 23, passed away on October 12, 2017. He was born September 9, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tyler was a goal oriented, driven, loving, loyal, and kind person who was always trying to help others feel better about themselves. He was a truly old-fashioned romantic and loved to bring flowers, or candy, make special meals, or find other ways to make those he loved feel special. Tyler was a toddler who was happy and always on the move. He never walked but instead ran, skip, hopped, or somersaulted to his destination. A neighbor once mentioned that Tyler was the kid most likely to be a millionaire as he was always setting up lemonade stands and started his own lawn care company, hiring his friends and talking about making his payroll' during grade and middle school years. He loved to dress up in his three-piece suit and would often wear it or at least a shirt and tie to school or just around town for no reason other than he liked to look sharp. While he was in high school, he took courses and become a certified EMT along with courses in firefighting and even had a short stint as a model. Tyler became a shift manager at a local McDonalds and had written plans on how he was going to eventually own his own chain of stores. He was also employed at a local gas station and was excited about the potential opportunities that he could have there. Tyler's hobbies included gaming, learning about history, especially the Civil War, Ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire and he owned a full-sized metal suit of a Roman Legionnaire's armor that was his favorite Halloween costume. He loved being outdoors, taking road trips and hiking. He had visited 26 out of the 50 US States and planned to visit all of them. He recently took his daughter on a road trip and hiking to some of his favorite Utah locations. Tyler was a great cook and would taste something then pull out a variety of herbs or seasonings to give the dish the perfect flavor and he made the most amazing steaks and homemade root beer. He was never afraid of taking on a challenge and was very successful in his endeavors as a result. Tyler was proud of the fact that he owned his own house and had two cars, one a Corvette, by the age of 22. Tyler though was most proud of his three-year old daughter Skylyn. She was the light of his life and he was always taking pictures and videos of the two of them. A few days before Tyler died, he laughingly let his daughter paint his toenails a glow-in-the dark sparkling blue, which he proudly wears knowing that his daughter loved the fact they both had the same color toenails. The last six months were full of trials for Tyler, beginning with a car accident in May that turned into a spiral of escalating physical, financial, and emotional stresses that he struggled to overcome. The last few months have been full of pain, hospital and doctor visits and each week seemed to bring some new trial that he had to face. The pain and stress pulled him away from being with the people and doing the things he loved most. He is finally free of all of that and can rest. Tyler is adored and loved by many. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. We love you Tyler! He is survived by his daughter, Skylyn Pincock; parents, Shari Stott Pincock and Rick (Veronica) Pincock,; siblings: Sara Pincock, Jonathan Pincock; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. A Celebration of Tyler's Life will be held Friday, October 20th, 1:00 pm, at the Bingham Creek Stake Center, 8539 South 2200 West, West Jordan, UT. Interment at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
