Sandra Rae Adamson Jones

Sandra Rae Adamson Jones, age 72, passed away with her family by her side on August 30, 2015 after a long and valiant battle with liver disease. Sandy was born December 13, 1942 to Delbert Peter Adamson and Laura Roundy Adamson. She married her high school sweetheart, best friend and true love of her life, Brent Jones, in the Salt Lake Temple on June 15, 1962. She was a loving mother to 5 children. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served faithfully in many callings, but her main focus was her family. She loved spoiling her grandkids and great-grandkids. Sandy is survived by her husband, Brent; their 5 children, Karlene (Jerry) Welker, Steve (Wendie) Jones, Darrin (Michelle) Jones, Debbie (Brian) Miller, Becky (Shane) Parkin; and is now a guardian angel to her 25 grandkids and 26 great-grandkids; sisters, Joy (Scott) Haslam, Barbara (Howard) Spencer and Marianne (Woody) Woodbury. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Westland Stake Center, 7265 South 2700 West. Viewings will be held Friday 5-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and prior to the service, 9-9:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
