Richard Demetrio Manzanares

Richard Demetrio Manzanares, 79, passed away May 25, 2015 in West Valley City, Utah. Born March 24, 1936 in Bayfield, Colorado, son of Jose Demetrio Manzanares and Cressencia Archuletta. He was a talented guitar player, built pianos and boats, was adventurous and a hard working man. He was a member of the Catholic Church and loved his grandchildren. Survived by his companion Rose Olson; daughters Luella (Jerry) LeBlanc and Denise Hardgrave; son Jamie (Missy) Manzanares; 5 grandchildren; sisters Cordie (Albert) Garcia and Carmen. A vigil will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015, 6:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road with a viewing at 5:00 p.m. Inurnment, June 5, 2015, Ignacio, Colorado.
