Nathan Lucas Young, 52, of West Jordan, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 19, 2015 in Murray, Utah. He was born to Charles Lucas and Peggy Lou Young on July 15, 1962, in France. Nathan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed listening to stories from the Book of Mormon. Special thanks to his dear and faithful home teacher, Bryan Holladay, who visited him as a genuine and concerned friend for many years. Later in life, Nathan lived in care centers due to diabetes complications and a heart condition, where he was well-known as a good friend, visiting residents and staff. Nathan loved fried chicken, pizza, snacks, soda, and special packages from his mom. He will be missed by many dear friends and associates. Nathan is survived by his mother Peggy Lou Young, Metter, Georgia; 2 sisters; Janet Taylor, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Lorena Collins, Statesboro, Georgia; brother-in-law, Gary B. (Beth) Taylor, West Jordan, Utah; aunt Clara May (Jerry) Bradford, of Enterprise, Alabama; and 12 nieces and nephews.
