Maynard Bevan McIntosh

October 14, 1933 — May 3, 2018

Bevan, who passed peacefully in his sleep, was reunited with his loving wife Carla on Thursday, May 3, 2018. He struggled this last month and a half without her. Bevan was the youngest of 4 children, born October 14, 1935. Bevan has 4 wonderful children Pam Casper (Calvin), Mark McIntosh (Penny), Scott McIntosh (Vicky), and Patrice Thorup (Paul). He had 17 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way. Preceded in death by his loving wife Carla; daughter Patrice; son-in-law Calvin; his parents; and 3 sisters. Bevan was the rock in our family; he was the voice of reason. He was an amazing Home Teacher and very seldom missed a month of visiting his friends. He was a Master Electrician and loved his work. He was always doing side jobs to help people out. But his most favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family. Hunting, fishing and camping was his passion before his heart attack in 2002. After that, he loved being with his grandchildren and teasing them as much as he did his wife. He was a fantastic dad, teacher and could tell you the best jokes that would make everyone laugh. We will miss his "come again" goodbyes. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Taylorsville Paradise Ward, 1555 W. Lovely Road. Viewings will be held Friday, May 11th, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road, and again prior to services on Saturday from 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Place of Birth:Junction, UtahPlace of Death:Taylorsville, Utah
