Mary "Doreene" Fitzhugh Fox

Doreene Fox, wife, loving mother and grandmother, survivor and animal lover, passed away October 14, 2014 surrounded by family. Doreene was born February 10, 1931 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Elmer and Mary Elizabeth Brandon Fitzhugh. She married Raymond O. Fox July 14, 1951; he preceded her in death after 56 years of marriage. They are now together again. Doreene had a loving heart and her family remembers her as a courageous, caring soul. She inspired all she came in contact with and we will all remember the love she showered upon us. Doreene is survived by her children: Michael (Lynette), Elizabeth (Lawrence) and Douglas; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren (with 1 on the way); sisters, Rosa, Sheila, LaVera and Marilyn; sister-in-law, Beverly. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond; parents; 4 brothers; 1 sister. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held 12 1:45 p.m. prior to services.
