December 17, 1950 — March 6, 2018

Our loving and hardworking husband and father, died March 6, 2018 of a severe septic infection resulting from complications of undiagnosed diabetes. Born December 17, 1950 in Salt Lake City, UT to Gordon and Marie Tuckett. Raised in Granger, UT along with his five siblings. Graduated from Granger High School. An avid basketball and softball player for Salt Lake County Rec. Faithfully served in various callings in the LDS Church. He married JoLynn (Jo) McBride February 1, 1980 in the Salt Lake Temple and was the proud father of three beautiful daughters. Skilled tradesman, master craftsman, small business owner and all around Mr. Fix It. His straightforward personality and gruff exterior hid a soft heart. A family man who loved being social, cracking jokes and teasing those around him. Always willing to lend a helping hand and give help to those in need. Regularly donated money to the Utah Food Bank. Dedicated to making sure his family was always provided for even after his children were grown. Preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Marie Tuckett. Survived by his wife Jo Tuckett; his children Nikki (Jeff) Judd, Megan (Marc) Silva, Ashley Tuckett; granddaughter Jackie Judd; and his five siblings. A viewing will be held Saturday, March 10th, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the LDS church, 7115 South 3200 West, West Jordan, UT 84084, followed by graveside service and interment, 1:00 pm at the West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 South 1300 West, West Jordan, UT 84088. Services under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his honor to the Utah Food Bank.
