Lela Mary Privett

Lela Mary Privett passed away at home with family at her side, August 14, 2017. She was born February 4, 1929 in Midvale, Utah to John Denney and Annie Lela Allen. She married Alvin Russell Privett June 16, 1947; sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple February 26, 1948. She served in the Primary and the Relief Society in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also served in the temple. She enjoyed crafts, camping and embroidery work. She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother. She leaves behind two children, Roger (Donna) Privett, Colleen (Bob) Holm; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; two daughters, Linda and Jackie; three sons, Casey, Randy and Preston; two grandsons; two sisters; and one brother. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 18, 2017, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be held Thursday, August 17th, 6-8:00 p.m. and prior to services on Friday from 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn.
