Jeffrey Alan Howard "Droop"

Jeffrey Alan Howard (Droop), 63, passed away at the University Of Utah due to an automobile accident on February 14, 2017. He was born June 8, 1954 to Dale and Norma Howard in Ottumwa, Iowa. He grew up in Ottumwa and graduated from Ottumwa High School. He married Linda Kay Christiansen on September 3, 1976, they were later divorced. He loved his family, his line of work, and his many dear friends. He cherished his two sons and every bit of time he got to spend with his granddaughters. Survived by his son; Jason J Howard (Teresa); granddaughters: Desiree, Bailee, Kaylee, Kylee, Brylee, Tazlyn, Katlyne, Kamei and Aaliyah; also survived by two other men who he also considered to be his sons: Jason Wagner and Steven Strong Andersen-Jensen. Preceded in death by his parents; Dale and Norma Howard; brothers Doug and Greg; and his son Shane. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City.
