Gayle Emelene Norris Speer Campbell Lund Boehm

Gayle Emelene, age 84, passed away on May 30, 2017 at her home in Globe, AZ. She was born in El Paso, Texas to Phillip Norris and Carrie Abigail Cass. In 1947 she moved to Globe, AZ where she met and married Jack D. Speer. They moved to Phoenix where they had two sons, Jack and David. Gayle worked for Mountain Bell, Kiko Radio, Ozark Lead and Kennecott. While in Salt Lake City, she met A. Lloyd Lund and they were sealed in the Jordan River Temple. When Lloyd passed away Gayle moved back to Globe, AZ to be closer to her sons. Gayle is survived by her sons Jack Speer Jr., David Speer (Kathy); stepchildren Mary Sparrow (Dennis), Susan Forsgren (Cliff), Tom Lund (Donna); 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by step-son Terry Lund. Funeral services were held in Globe, AZ on June 10, 2017. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 17, 2107, 10:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
