Darline Wycherly Taylor 1929 ~ 2016 Darline passed away on July 20, 2016 peacefully in her sleep after a short battle with cancer. She was born February 9, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Leonard R. and Eva M. Wycherly. She attended South High School and worked many years as a waitress and a banquet server. She loved her family and friends, taking trips, reading , cooking, camping, handwork and shopping. She was a past auxiliary president and an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 38 years. Darline and her three sisters were the only sibling quartet that were members of the Sweet Adelines Barber Shop Chorus. She was always ready for the next trip, outing or family gathering. Proud of her 5 generations, Darline is survived by her daughters Jody Taylor, Rhonda (Craig) Painter and Cherrie ( Brian) Roberts; 8 grandkids, 18 great-grandkids and 2 great-great grandkids; sisters Betty (Keith) Crandall and Anna Mae Smith, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband John B. Taylor, son David Ray Fitzgerald and sister Norma Evans. A tender, caring, classy lady, Darline will be missed by all. Her family would like to thank Envision Home Health and Hospice for the great care provided. We would like to extend our heartfelt love and gratitude to her hospice nurse for the special and tender care she received. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road with a viewing from 11:00-12:30 p.m. prior to the funeral services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South.
