Carolyn Draper Bolton

Carolyn Bolton was born December 16, 1936 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, the 5th of 7 children, to Gladys and Howard Draper. She married Bill Bolton May 6, 1966, celebrating their 50th Anniversary recently. Her favorite hobby was crocheting and she made blankets for all of her children and grandchildren. A foster mother for 27 years, she cared for 189 children. She specialized in caring for children with medical, mental and physical conditions. Carolyn and Bill adopted 3 children through the foster care program in addition to two others via adoption agencies. Survived by her husband Bill Bolton; sons: Randy, Kevin & James, daughters: Lisa and Lorrie; sister, Lois Isaksson (Mike); 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; 2 brothers Jay & Billie Draper; 3 sisters: Athleen Larson, Thora Jensen & June Butcher. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2015 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be held Tuesday, May 24th, 6-8:00 p.m. and prior to services Wednesday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Mt.
