Beulah Wheeler Broadhead

Beulah Wheeler Broadhead passed away at home Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in Kearns, Utah at the age of 78. Beulah was born on April 7, 1938 in Heber City, Utah to Ray and June Wheeler. She attended LDS Business College and later married the love of her life, Don Broadhead in 1961. During the next 7 years, the couple welcomed 4 children into their home and Beulah set about teaching them love, unwavering family values, and service to others. She enjoyed camping, all family gatherings, and kept a constantly open door to her home. Her relatives remember her as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Beulah was a selfless, loving woman who was an active and dedicated member of the LDS church. She donated countless hours along side her husband during their LDS service mission at the Bishop's Storehouse during 2009-2011; also serving church callings such as primary presidency, relief society presidency, and held the position of the librarian for 13 years. Beulah is survived by her loving husband, Don Broadhead; children, Carma (Kent) Nay, Bryan Broadhead, Lynn (Terri) Broadhead; brother, Dennis (Rita) Wheeler; sister, Beva Gines; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by father, Ray Lavell Wheeler; mother, June Jacobson; son,Thomas Broadhead; and grandson Shaun Nay. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Kearns 10th Ward Building, 4865 South 5020 West. Viewings will be held Sunday, June 19th, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and prior to services Monday at the church from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Heber City Cemetery.
