Amanda Jane Long 1981 ~ 2016 Amanda Jane Long, 35, passed away April 29, 2016 at her home. Amanda was born in Salt Lake City, January 6, 1981 to Alice Jane Sparks Long and Jon Gregory Long. Survived by Alice Jane Long; Jon Gregory Long; Teegan Joshua Long; Joshua Gregory Long; Susanne and Larry Vercimak; T.J. Thompson and Camy and Alicia Thompson; two beloved pets Kita and Bella. Preceded in death by her Uncle Allen Sparks and maternal and paternal grandparents. Our beloved Amanda touched more hearts than can be counted. Her loving and caring spirit drove her to care for not only her family but many others, as a home healthcare Registered Nurse. You could feel her love radiate from her smile, and her smile was always brightest as she held the Angel in her life, her son. A fierce and amazing mother, daughter, lover, niece, and friend, Amanda always lit up the room. Her laugh was contagious, her hugs were consuming and nothing will ever compare. She is forever in our hearts as we are forever in her embrace. A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 , 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
