Alexander G. Salazar

July 30, 1933 — November 15, 2014

"My Lavito" The love of my life went to meet Jesus on November 15, 2014 at 11:28 p.m. The first moment we met it was "until death do us part." We have been married 41 years - years of love and caring for each other. He was, and is, the love of my life. Our last conversation he said to me, "I took care of you here. I am going to still take care of you in heaven. I love you, Lavita." He left behind a legacy of honesty and integrity as a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and great-great-great-grandfatherfive generationstoo many to name them all. He was an amazing mentor to many friends, and a friend to all who knew him. He worked as a mechanic in the Cummins Diesel Intermountain industry for 47 years. He is survived by his Lavita, Dorothy; children, Mona, Kathleen, Johanna, Theresa, Jana, Leroy, Tomas, Ron, Mike, Sam, Betty, Patricia, and Duaine; and siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Stephen; and several siblings. Love, wait for us. We will meet you there, love of our lives. - Your Dorothy Funeral services will be held Friday, November 21, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Christian Life Center, 1055 North Redwood Road.
