Helen Audrey Dale O'Connor

Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away in her sleep the morning after her 85th birthday. Helen was born to Edward Charles and Bernice Arlene Harvey Dale in Utica, New York. Helen and her mother joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in May, 1949. She married Myron Edwin O'Connor January 28, 1950 and they were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple July 5, 1950. She enjoyed family history, loved to sing and participated in numerous choirs. She is survived by her children: Kathleen Anne (Dennis) McMaster and Michael Edward (Miriam) O'Connor; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; husband; and a grandson. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Villa and Summit Home Health and Hospice for their care of Helen during her final months. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 31, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road with a viewing, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
